Felt making classes

Come to a one day felt making class in Lamlash and make a small bag, a flower or a scarf. The beginners class covers all the basics, and allows you to complete a 3D shape like a bag or a tea cosy, or if you prefer, a flat wall hanging – all in one day. No experience required! Also suitable for beginners or the more experienced is the felt slipper class, the needle felted animals class and felted jewelry. Learn the art of felt making with a healthy homemade lunch (in summer grown in the veg garden) with delicious cakes. All materials are provided – just bring along your ideas!

Price for classes : full day £55 / half day £25 (tea & cake no lunch)

· Includes homemade lunch, tea /coffee and materials
· Small classes of up to 6 participants
· Weekly classes : full day 10 am – 4 pm half day: 10 am - 1 pm or 2 pm - 5 pm

( participants coming from the mainland start 11am )

2010 WORKSHOPS
Sunday 6th June - felted flowers
Felt jewelry This workshop will use different felting techniques including wet felt and needle felting. To create exquisite pieces of jewelry you will experiment with making pieces such as necklaces, earrings and bangles. No previous experience is required for this workshop - just enthusiasm and a willingness to create and play. Make some beautiful flowers to wear as a corsage or to give away.

Hen Feltmaking Days:

Have fun on your hen day by getting together a group of friends to make that special bag for the wedding day. Come to Arran for the day if you are 6 or less and felt at my place, or I can arrange a bigger venue for more.
Felt flower corsages can also be made to order for weddings
